The fastest-growing Delaware County home prices are prominent in five of its towns, which made the list of the top 50 fastest-growing home prices in Pennsylvania, according to Stacker. The rankings were based on data from the Zillow Home Values Index for 12 months ending in August of 2023.  

Media made no. 20 on the list with a typical home value of $562, 017. It had a one-year price change of 4.8 percent and a five-year price change of 43 percent.  

Havertown ranked at no. 18, with a home value of $465,348. It had a one-year price change of 6 percent and a five-year price change of 46.3 percent.  

Swarthmore came in at no. 13, with a typical home value of $415,601 and a one-year price change of 7.3 percent. It had a five-year price change of 49.6 percent.  

At no. 6, Glen Mills saw a one-year price change of 6.5 percent growth and a five-year price change of 41.6 percent growth. The typical home value in the town is $632,842.  

Garnet Valley reigned as the fastest-growing city in Delaware County, at no. 4 on the list. The city saw a one-year price change of 6.8 percent and a five-year price change of 43.1 percent.
