A Delaware County High School Listed Among Top 10 Best in Pennsylvania

Radnor High School made it on to a top list of best high schools in Pennsylvania.

A Delaware County high school once again cracked the top 10 list in 2023 for best high schools in Pennsylvania.

Radnor High School in Radnor placed 4th among 665 Pennsylvania high schools reviewed by U.S. News and World Report.

Radnor High School placed fifth in the Philadelphia Metro Area and ranked nationally at 275th.

Radnor High School has a 98 percent graduation rate and a 66.5 percent college readiness rate.

By comparison, Unionville High School in the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District placed 6th in Pennsylvania rankings, and 307th in national rankings.

Haverford High School in Havertown didn’t crack the top 10 but was listed as 18th in Pennsylvania rankings, and 664th in national rankings.

Strath Haven High School in Wallingford appears next on the list, coming in at 32nd among Pennsylvania high schools with a national ranking of 1,032.

Other Delaware County high schools listed in the top 200 in Pennsylvania are:

Springfield High School in Springfield, 44

Penncrest High School in Media at 55

Garnet Valley High School in Glen Mills, at 73

Marple Newtown High School in Newtown Square at 112

Rankings are based on student scores in college readiness AP or IB exams, state assessments, and graduation rates.
