Craft Beer Store Oktoberfest Set Sept. 23 in Springfield

The Craft Beer Store Oktoberfest is here again in Springfield on Sept. 23.

The annual Craft Beer Store Oktoberfest takes place Saturday, Sept. 23, from noon until 8 PM.

Throughout the day, guests can sample beers from all around Germany, including the keg tapping of Ayinger’s Oktoberfest Marzen and Weinstephaner’s Festbier Lager.

The Craft Beer Store, located at 35 Baltimore Pike in Springfield, will also offer a special of $15 Crowlers (available for in-house consumption during the festival only), and $25 Growlers (to-go only) throughout the day.

Those attending can enjoy an authentic German food menu catered by Brauhaus Schmitz which will include Schnitzel and a variety of sausage sandwiches.

A Stein Holding contest will kick off the day’s festivities at noon, with an additional contest taking place at the top of each hour.

There will be live music from accordion player MiloSolo, beer games such as Keg Rolling, Drunken Waiter, and more.

Tickets are $10 and include the first beer for each guest as well as two entries into the raffle, with prizes ranging from Craft Beer Store gift cards and Craft Beer Baskets. Tickets can be purchased here.

The Craft Beer Store will be open seven days a week starting Sept. 10, 2023. The new hours will be Monday through Wednesday from 3-11 PM., Thursday through Saturday from noon to 11 PM. and Sunday from Noon to 7 PM.
