Three breweries with locations in Delaware County made a top 30 list from editors at Food & Wine.

Food and Wine Magazine has come up with the 30 best craft breweries out of at least 250 in Pennsylvania to visit.

Three of those breweries have locations in Delaware County, report the editors at Food & Wine Magazine

The 2SP Brewing Company in Aston was founded by Bob Barrar, a brewer at Iron Hill Brewery

who joined up with the team behind the popular Two Stories Pub gastropub chain.

The first 2SP brewery opened in 2015.  Barrar’s beers are mostly low-alcohol and include Cold Cock, an English IPA, or Weiss Wit, a tart witbier.

Tired Hands Brewing actually started in Ardmore, but they’ve since opened a beer park in Newtown Square.

The brewery was founded by Jean Broillet IV, who was inspired by the farmhouse ales from Belgium and France.

The Tired Hands Brew Café opened in 2012 in Ardmore, followed by Fermentaria down the block in 2015, featuring tacos and a milkshake IPA.

The Newtown Square 15-acre beer park opened in June 2023 off N. Crum Creek Road.

Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant has 13 locations, including one in Media. The brewpubs brew on-site. Iron Hill has won GABF medals for 20 straight years, the current record.
