Top Chester County Breweries to Visit This Summer

The best Chester County breweries are serving up craft beer, seasonal brews, and great food perfect for summer days.

Summer is arguably the best season to enjoy a chilled beverage, whether it’s on the beach, poolside, or on a sunny patio, writes Earl Hopkins for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

From breweries to beer gardens, Chester County is sprawling with thoughtfully crafted beer.

Malvern’s Locust Lane Craft Brewery offers a versatile menu for any beer lover. Red Irish ales, light lagers, and everything in between is available. The taproom serves a hefty number of appetizers, including wings, nachos, and pretzels.

Sly Fox Brewing in Malvern is known to most beer connoisseurs, with their large selection of craft beverages and expansive patio that’s always lively.

Lagers and IPAs linger on the beer menu, but be sure to check in often for seasonal and limited-time releases. Classic pub food is expertly made, from smash burgers to pizzas.

La Cabra Brewing, located in Berwyn, pairs perfectly with their smokehouse in Bryn Mawr. This brewery is laidback, approachable, and will soon become one of your personal favorites.

Their entrees are on theme, featuring smoked brisket and pulled pork. Their beer list is full of culturally inspired brews, some Italian, French, and American.
