Local brewery Tired Hands Brewing Co. has its sights set on West Chester for a new brick-and-mortar location, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The brewery is currently undergoing a rebrand that includes introducing several new locations, expanding its food and drink menu, renovating interiors, and formally changing the name of the Ardmore location to Ardmore Brewing Co.
Owner Jean Broillet IV shared that the brewery’s expansion has been planned for years, and that a specific location in downtown West Chester has been a longtime goal for the business.
Tired Hands has gained local recognition for its IPAs, and international attention after the brewery’s multiple nominations for the James Beard Foundation’s Restaurant and Chef Awards. In addition to its Philadelphia and Main Line locations, the brewery also operates a taproom in Kennett Square.
With its ongoing rebrand, Tired Hands locations will feature a refined beer menu featuring two rotating seasonal beers, as well as a redesigned food menu and new black-and-white interiors.
About the brewery’s forthcoming West Chester location, Broillet said, “There’s nothing like it that I know of that exists in the States.”
