Drexel Hill resident Rich Pruett confirmed he received an invitation to a September Trump fundraiser, though no official announcement has been made.

Rich Pruett of Drexel Hill has received a unique invitation.

Pruett is in possession of an invitation to attend a Sept. 14 fundraising event for former President Donald Trump next month in Philadelphia, reportedly at the Union League, writes Julia Terruso and Chris Brennan for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Though there’s been no immediate comment about the event from the Trump campaign, the news media was alerted about the invitation after it was tweeted out by an activist account.

Pruett is a longtime Trump supporter who confirmed to The Philadelphia Inquirer that he received the invitation and heard the event will take place at the Union League.

Pruett, who works in insurance, said he won’t be attending Trump’s fundraiser.

“We don’t have $2,000 to hand over, with the economy what it is,” he said.

Tickets for the fundraiser are listed as $23,200 per couple, which includes a photo with Trump and a VIP reception; $6,600 for just the VIP reception; and $1,000 for general attendance.

The money will go toward Trump’s joint fundraising committee, Trump Save America.

Representatives for the Union League did not comment on the event.
