Chris Pierdomenico’s passion project, Delco: The Movie, was supposed to start shooting July 31, but it got sidetracked by the actor/writers strike.

Now Perdomenico has an approved interim agreement with SAG-AFTRA and the way is clear for Delco: The Movie to start shooting in the Fall.

Chris Pierdomenico, who grew up in Aston, Brookhaven, and Parkside and who graduated from Sun Valley High,  has remained passionately Delco at heart, even though he’s moved away, writes Stephanie Farr for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

 “In my wedding vows, I had to promise my wife I wouldn’t make her die in Delco. That’s why we live in North East, Md.”

The movie is a remake of a film he crafted as a teenager, showcasing a day lived “the Delco way.”

 “The Delco way is jump first, ask questions later,” he explained.

The upcoming movie boasts a star-studded cast, including Philly’s Brian Anthony Wilson of “The Wire” and Brian O’Halloran, famously known as Dante Hicks from the “Clerks” franchise.

O’Halloran, met Pierdomenico at a Clerks event and admired his dedication.

Entirely crowdfunded on Seed & Spark, Pierdomenico raised $59,000 in 30 days, well above his $30,000 cap.
