Here’s Pennsylvania’s 10 Richest Counties. See If Delaware County Made the List

There’s a lot of counties in Pennsylvania, so you might not expect Delaware County to make the top 10 when it comes to being the wealthiest..

But a study by the tech company SmartAsset placed Delaware County in that top 10 group, based on median income, investment income and home values, writes Lindsay Smith for Centre Daily Times.

Here’s how the top 10 counties in Pennsylvania ranked:

Chester County took the No. 1 spot thanks to a median income of $109,000, an investment income of $60,108 and a median home value of $500,572.

Bucks County was No. 2 with a median income of  $99,302, an investment income of $42,863 and a median home value of $453, 659.

Montgomery County was No. 3, with a median income of $99,361, an investment income of  $71,283, and a median home value of $434,099.

Delaware County was  No. 4: with a median income of  $80,398, an investment income: of $54,132 and a median home value of $320,109.

From there, Centre County was No. 5. Northampton was No. 6. , Butler County was No. 7. Lancaster County was No. 8: Cumberland County was No. 9: and Lehigh County came in 10h.
