A Villanova University student who came from behind to win a nice amount of money on Wheel of Fortune nearly broke down in tears as host Pat Sajak pleaded with her not to cry, writes Brittany Vincent for the U.S. Sun.

The student, identified as Malia from Honolulu, Hawaii, is an international business and marketing major with a minor in Finance.

She appeared on Wheel of Fortune’s College Week Spring Break event.

Malia had fallen behind the other contestants but made a major comeback later in the show when she guessed a puzzle with the solution “High Point of the Year.”

“You know, it’s a funny little game,” Sajak remarked on her comeback. “Ben had this big lead by a big number, but what you did, is you ended up winning the match with $25,850!”

It was a bit overwhelming for Malia.

“I’m gonna cry!” she said.

Sajak eventually put his arm around her shoulder and pleaded, “Don’t cry! Before you cry, pick a category, and then you just bawl your eyes out.”

By the end of the game, Malia had made it to a bonus puzzle but couldn’t solve it.  She did get to keep her major winnings.

Malia’s win was captured by the local TV news in Honolulu.
