Gladwyne real estate mogul Michael Karp — whose high net worth easily qualifies him for an investor’s chair on ABC’s Shark Tank — is selling one. Meaning an actual oversized aquarium with sharks is purchasable to a buyer with means. E.B. Solomont explained for The Wall Street Journal.

The predator-populated aquatic feature decorates an entertainment room in Karp’s Hamptons estate, which is being listed for $59.5 million.

In 2021, Karp purchased two properties on 20 acres of the Mecox Bay in Walter Mill, near Long Island, N.Y. In 2020, Walter Mill was noted by Forbes as the 14th most expensive ZIP Code in the U.S.

The Karp home for sale encompasses roughly 28,000 sq. ft.

In addition to the shark tank, it has an indoor half-basketball court, a 14-seat movie theater, and a wine cellar with a 350-bottle capacity.

The outside pool has its own waterfall and an accompanying pool house with a moat. The grounds feature yet another half-basketball court and an outdoor dining area with its own pizza oven.

More on this real-estate opportunity to buy Michael Karp’s Hampton estate, and it’s Montgomery County connection is at The Wall Street Journal.
