CEO of Chester-Based Power Home Remodeling Discusses Bold Marketing Move

By

Asher Raphael

Asher Raphael, CEO of Chester’s Power Home Remodeling, recently captured the nation’s attention with three billboards in Cleveland that encouraged LeBron James to join the Philadelphia 76ers, writes Fabiola Cineas for Philadelphia magazine.

The man behind the marketing campaign saw its core message, #PhillyWantsLeBron, amass around 2.5 billion hits on social media. Raphael said the move was an extension of his company’s culture and commitment to the region.

“Not only does it show the love for our city, but we wanted to create a national dialogue about the city,” he said.

However, the marketing tactic is far from the only inspirational thing about Power Home Remodeling. It has been included on nearly every list of the best companies to work for. This includes being crowned as the Best Place to Work for Millennials by Fortune and ranking 15th on the 50 Best Places to Work by Glassdoor.

“Being the best place to work in the country is our No. 1 goal,” said Raphael. “When you make all of your decisions based on that, your choices end up aligning with the vision.”
