The Media Business Authority (MBA) is inviting companies, organizations, and individuals to sponsor an ice sculpture for its’ first-ever ICE ON STATE in Media Borough taking place Saturday, Jan. 14, and Sunday, Jan. 15.

The event will bring shoppers and diners to downtown Media during a time that is typically a post-holiday lull.

Customized ice sculptures will line the sidewalk on State Street between Monroe and Orange streets during the two-day event.

Your company or organization can have a custom ice sculpture of anything you want created by Ice Sculpture Philly’s world-famous master sculptors.

Even if your business isn’t located on State Street, your company can still be featured. The MBA will connect you with a business on State Street to host your sculpture.

You may choose to sponsor a sculpture for your favorite charity, nonprofit, club, or organization.

Order a sculpture to celebrate your local sports team, high school, or college graduating class.

Families and friends can pay tribute to a special person or commemorate a significant event with a custom ice sculpture, or have your neighborhood sponsor a carving.

The deadline to submit your sculpture order is Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023.

To learn more about the event or place an order for your own ice sculpture, visit the ICE ON STATE event page.

In addition to sponsorship opportunities, there are a number of “large scale” sculpture options to consider, to make a more significant impact on guests.

ICE ON STATE begins at 12:00 noon on Saturday, Jan. 14, and concludes at 4 PM, Sunday, Jan. 15, or when the sculptures melt!

The winter weekend will also feature live sculpting demonstrations and a special musical performance in the State Street District.
