Delaware County is home to seven of the 50 best private high schools in Pennsylvania for 2023, according to a new report published by Niche.

To determine the 2023 Best Private High Schools in Pennsylvania, Niche analyzed key statistics along with reviews submitted by students and parents. The ranking factors included SAT/ACT scores, student-teacher ratio, the quality of colleges that students consider, and the percentage of seniors who go on to four-year colleges.

All of the schools that made the top 50 received an A+ or an A grade for their overall score.

The highest ranked school in Delaware County is The Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square in third place. The school has an average graduation rate of 100 percent.

The Haverford School also made the top ten in sixth place, as did Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy in Bryn Mawr in seventh place.

The Agnes Irwin School in Rosemont is next in No. 21, followed by Sacred Heart Academy Bryn Mawr in No. 35.

The list is rounded out by Delaware County Christian School in Newtown Square at No. 40 and Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in Villanova at No. 41.
