Delaware County is home to four of the 50 best private high schools in Pennsylvania for 2021, according to a new report published by Niche.com.
The Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square ranked highest in fourth place. The school has a yearly tuition of $35,400 and an average graduation rate of 100 percent.
The Haverford School also made the top ten at eighth place with its tuition of $38,800 and an average graduation rate of 100 percent.
Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in Villanova follows at No.38, while Delaware County Christian School in Newtown Square rounds out the list at No. 40.
Niche.com determined the rankings based on rigorous analysis of U.S. Department of Education academic and student data along with test scores, college data, and millions of user ratings.
Ranking factors include SAT/ACT scores, student-teacher ratio, the quality of colleges that students consider, and the percentage of seniors who go on to four-year colleges, among other things.
All schools that made the top 50 received an A+ or an A grade for their overall score.
