Pennsylvania State Trooper Martin Mack III, killed in a crash on I-95 early Monday, was a Monsignor Bonner High School graduate, writes Alex Rose for the Daily Times.

A funeral mass for Mack is set March 31 at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Levittown to accommodate an expected large contingent of law enforcement from across the country, writes Rodrigo Torrejon for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Mack and Trooper Branden T. Sisca; and Reyes Rivera Oliveras, 28, of Allentown were killed when fatally struck by a vehicle driven by Jayana Tanae Webb.

Webb has been charged in connection with the fatal crash.

“Marty” Mack, a married father of two, is a 2006 graduate of Monsignor Bonner and Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School.

“We know that Marty lived his life for the service of others,” President John E. Cooke said in a statement. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Mack family as well as all the families affected by this tragic incident.”

Mack played lacrosse for Bonner throughout high school and football in his freshman year. He also performed the role of an ambassador for younger generations through his work with the St. Augustine Corps.
