The Chester County Health Department announced that as of July 1, 2021, they will no longer be providing daily updates on COVID-19 cases and deaths for Delaware and Chester counties.

On June 30, there were a total of 49,890 COVID-19 cases that have been reported in Delaware County since case records started in March 2020.

Delaware County also had a total of 1,459 total COVID-19-related deaths as of June 30, 2021.

The Chester County Health Department will continue to provide weekly county-wide updates each Friday.

Pennsylvania data

The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed as of noon, July 1, that there were 186 additional cases of COVID-19 statewide. The total number of cases stands at 1,212,257.

There were 17 additional COVID-19 deaths reported statewide for July 1. Total deaths statewide are 27,687.
