Subaru Park in Chester, home to the Philadelphia Union, will open to full capacity on Wednesday, June 23, reports fox29.com.

“Philadelphia Union fans are the backbone of this organization and we cannot wait to welcome back all fans and the electricity they bring,” said Philadelphia Union President Tim McDermott.

Health safety protocols will be in effect, however.

That means masks at all times, except when eating and drinking.  Fans should use the mobile ticket and parking pass. Concessions can only be purchased with credit or debit cards.

The Union is scheduled to play Columbus Crew SC for the full capacity crowd.

“The cheers, energy, and devotion our fans and the Sons of Ben bring to a home match are incredibly special and absolutely motivate our team.  We are truly excited for the Philadelphia fans who have waited for this moment for over a year,” McDermott said.

Pennsylvania plans to lift nearly all COVID-19 restrictions on Memorial Day.

Mask wearing will stop once the state reaches a full vaccination rate of 70%.
