Delaware County businessman Joe Teodoro has been a Godsend to volunteers from Teachers’ Teammates.

Teammates collects vital school supplies for students in districts like Upper Darby, William Penn, Penn-Delco, and Chester Upland School Districts, writes Maria Panaritis for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

For Teodora , It’s good karma.

“If you do things right, if you help people, it all comes back to you in spades,” he says.

Teachers Teammates is desperate for storage space. That’s where Teodoro comes in.

He owns Total Fulfillment Services, a small online sorting, and fulfillment business. That means access to warehouses, like 23,000 square feet of rented space in West Chester.

For nearly half a year, his warehouse has been stuffed with donated school supplies like pens, pencils, crayons, paints, notebooks and bags.

“Joey’s heart is this big,” said Teodoro’s childhood friend, Tom Reiley, stretching his arms wide across his chest. “He’s been that way his whole life.”

The businessman has always responded when Teammates founder Raelyn Harman of Havertown asks for help.

“I cried more than once when he said yes,” Harman said. “He’s some kind of saint.”
