Golfweek has put a Delaware County golf course on its list of the 10 best courses to play in Pennsylvania, writes Jason Lusk for USA Today.

The Golf Course at Glen Mills ranked in third place, behind Nemacolin in Farmington in first and Omni Bedford Springs in second.

The course was designed by Bobby Weed in 1998. It is owned and operated by Glen Mills School, which has provided services to troubled youth for almost two centuries.

Students get the opportunity to work the course in their curricula and the school helps qualified graduating students find jobs in the golf industry.

Golfweek determines the best courses by compiling average ratings from its over 750 raters.
