Brynn Walker, who competed in the ShopRite LPGA Classic qualifier six times, including in her senior season at Radnor High School, will compete next month in the Classic tournament, writes Patrick Mulranen for pressofatlanticcity.com.
Walker, a senior on the women’s team at the University of North Carolina, has competed in the ShopRite LPGA Classic twice.
“ Brynn has been taking part in our qualifiers since she was in high school and proved she can compete at the highest level, so it was our pleasure to make her road a little easier this year,” said tournament director Bill Hansen said in a statement.
She will be joined by Hinako Shibuno and Natalie Gulbis. They all accepted sponsor exemptions to compete.
Shibuno has never played a tournament outside her native Japan.
This will be Gulbis’ 15th time competing in the tournament.
