The Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square had the highest number of students enrolled in 2018-19 at 1,268, among independent private schools in the Philadelphia Metro Area, according to Sharon Oliver for Philadelphia Business Journal.

Episcopal Academy serves prekindergarten through 12th grade. Tuition range is $22,950 to $35,400.

Other Delaware County schools on the list of 51 schools are:

The Delaware County Christian School  in Newtown Square came in at 19th for enrollment, at 559 students. It serves prekindergarten to 12th grade. Tuition range is $10,276 to $17,127.

The Christian Academy in Brookhaven came in at 34th, with 312 students. It serves kindergarten through 12th grade. Tuition range is $4,950 to $11,200.

The Benchmark School in Media came in at 45th, with 178 students. It serves first to eighth grade. Tuition range is $36,800  to $38,700.

The Walden School in Media came in at 48th, with 140 students.  It serves preschool to eighth grade. Tuition range is $7,200  to $15,250.

The School in Rose Valley in Rose Valley came in at 50th, with 125 students. It serves preschool to sixth grade. Tuition range is $18,000 to $22,000.
