Eight Delaware County communities are among the top 50 priciest places and most expensive neighborhoods for the Philadelphia region in 2020, according to a staff report from the Philadelphia Magazine.
The highest-ranked is Villanova in second place with a 2020 average home price of $1,227,754. This represents a one-year change of 21 percent.
Radnor Township also made the top 10 in ninth place with an average home price of $863,204, a change of 17 percent compared to the previous year.
Wayne follows at No. 15 with a median house price of $759,103 and a one-year change of 17 percent.
Next is Rose Valley Borough in No. 22 with a $688,682 average home price, followed by Thornbury Township in No. 27 with its average price of $643,497.
Meanwhile, Newtown Township is at No. 29 with a 2020 average home price of $636,230 and Edgmont Township is at No. 42 with $559,350.
The list is rounded off by Upper Providence Township in No. 50 with an average home price of $517,119.
