86 More COVID-19 Cases Reported. Delaware County Total Now at 8,371

COVID-19 statistics were unavailable from the Chester County Health Department for Monday, July 27.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health is reporting 86 additional cases of COVID-19 for Delaware County as of noon, July 27, bringing the total number of cases to 8,371.

State statistics do not include a municipal breakdown of COVID-19 cases.

The Chester County Health Department reported 720 COVID-19 related deaths for Delaware County as of July 24.  Of those, 576 were in long term care facilities and personal care homes, according to data from the Chester County Health Department.

There were 839 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Pennsylvania as of July 27, for a total of 108,264..

There were 211 additional COVID-19 deaths statewide, for a total of 7,122 deaths reported, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Statewide, 1,042,424 people have tested negative for the virus.
