As of Monday, June 29, there were 50 additional cases of COVID-19 reported in Delaware County since Friday, June 26.

No COVID-19 related deaths were reported.

That brings the total number of positive cases in the county to 7,215 with the number of COVID-19 related deaths remaining at 696.

Of those, 558 were in long term care facilities and personal care homes, according to data from the Chester County Health Department.

Yeadon Borough has the highest percentage of population being affected by the virus. It has 425 cases, affecting 3.71 percent of its 11,471 population.

Upper Darby continues to have the most cases, at 1,181, affecting 1.42 percent of Upper Darby’s 82,993 population.

The county has had 35,902 people test negative for the virus. The health department is reporting an 82.69 percent recovery rate.
