Radnor Group Begins Phase 2 Construction on Philadelphia 576-Unit Residential High Rise
The Radnor Property Group in Wayne has started phase two construction of The Hamilton, a 500,000 square –foot 576-unit high rise apartment building at 440 N. 15th Street next to the Community College of Philadelphia, writes John Jordan for globest.com.
Phase one, completed in 2019, features a 10-story building with 279 residential units and parking garage.
Phase two is slated for completion in 2021. It consists of a 16-story building with 297 residential units and 2,932 square feet of ground-floor retail.
It will feature an enlarged private courtyard, landscaping, fire pits and gas grills, a rooftop deck, expanded fitness center, yoga room, club lounge with kitchen and fireplace; conference rooms; a billiards and game room with sports simulator; a coffee bar and think space and an underground parking garage.
“We are thrilled to start phase two of The Hamilton to provide quality and amenity-driven living environments at a reasonable price point for our residents”, says Dave Yeager, managing partner and founder of Radnor Property Group.
The Radnor Group secured $142.6 million to finance construction of the $175 million building. The community college collaborated with the Radnor Group on the building via a long-term ground lease agreement.
