Act 101 Counselor/Residence Director

This position acts as a role model, mentor, and advisor to Act 101 students; meets with Act 101 students on a regular basis to monitor academic progress and develop plans for success; and assists academically under-prepared or under-performing students in creating and following programs for improvement.

The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in counseling or a related discipline and a minimum of one year of experience in counseling and/or advising; experience working with urban and educationally disadvantaged students; and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Director of Prospect Development and Strategy

This position implements and manages a comprehensive program of proactive, quality prospect research; identifies, qualifies, and manages donors and prospects; and develops and refines major gifts prospect lists in support of key campaign priorities, including the creation of gift pyramids.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience in prospect development or a related field; experience with Microsoft Office software, including Excel and Access; and excellent interpersonal and time management skills.

Access Services Librarian

This position oversees the day-to-day library operations and coordination of the library, including staff supervision; oversees and manages interlibrary loan function and activities; and determines, implements, reviews, and communicates circulation policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess an ALA-accredited master’s degree in library/information science; a minimum of two years of post-master’s academic library experience; familiarity with TLC Library solution or similar integrated library system; and supervisory experience with large groups of student workers.
