Licensed Practical Nurse

This position institutes appropriate nursing intervention required to stabilize residents’ conditions; makes daily resident rounds to interview residents and assess physical and emotional status; and coordinates admission, discharge, and transfer of residents.

The ideal candidate will possess a current LPN licensure with experience in long-term geriatric nursing care; two to four years of relevant experience; basic math skills; and the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.

Activities Associate

This position helps develop innovative, evidence-based activity programs that are engaging and incorporate the Five Dimensions of Wellness: emotional, intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual; interviews residents to determine program preferences; and helps write program descriptions.

The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree in human services or recreation therapy; experience working in a healthcare setting; strong oral and written communication skills; and the ability to work effectively with small groups as a leader or facilitator.

Resident Assistant

This position reports changes in residents’ conditions to the nurse or designated charge person; reminds residents to take medication and helps open containers and prepackaged medications; and supervises, assists, and provides assistance to residents with showers, baths, dressing, and undressing.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid, unrestricted Pennsylvania CNA certification; experience reading vital signs and supervising medication; effective time management skills; and CPR/First Aid certifications.
