Power Home Remodeling has completed its expansion to the fifth floor of the former PECO Chester Waterside Station with a contemporary spin on the architectural maxim of “form follows function,” writes Colin Ainsworth for the Delaware County News Network.

The design of each office space is tailored to the company’s in-house departments, which each do their part in achieving Power’s goal to bring a customer-friendly and energy-efficient approach to exterior home improvements.

The expansion has increased Power’s office space to 140,000 square feet.

“Our co-founder, Adam Kaliner, founded the business with a people-first mindset,” said Michelle Bauer, vice president of public relations.

The new fifth-floor space builds on a philosophy that began on the first two floors. It is divided between sales and marketing and sections for creative and special events. The sales and marketing area has a more traditional layout. Meanwhile, the creative and special events space replicates a contemporary ad agency environment to attract talent to the company’s in-house creative team.

“It was important that we created a space reflection of that creative culture and gave that agency vibe that would allow us to bring talent out here to Chester,” said Bauer.
