Jennifer Morgan – a president at SAP in Newtown Square who oversees all of the Americas, Japan, and Asia Pacific – is one of Fortune magazine’s 51 Most Powerful Women in America.

Morgan, who placed 43rd on the list, ahead of Oprah Winfrey at No. 51, has had a rapid rise at SAP, a market leader in enterprise application software.

It took her only five years to progress from the head of regulated businesses to overseeing the entirety of the Americas, Japan, and Asia Pacific. The territory she is responsible for brought in more than $14 billion in revenue last year and accounted for close to 70 percent of the company’s cloud subscription and support revenue.

Morgan is also the first-ever American woman to sit on SAP’s executive board, after being appointed last year. During her years with the company, she has investigated and closed the gender pay gap for SAP North America.

Morgan, a graduate of James Madison University, also serves on the Board of Directors of the Bank of New York Mellon.
