Check Out Which Parts of the Region Have Already Donated to Trump’s Re-Election Campaign

As President Donald Trump starts campaigning for re-election, some donors in Chester County have already started backing him for a second term in the White House, writes Alison Burdo for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Using donation data from the Federal Electoral Commission, the Philadelphia Business Journal has determined which parts of the Keystone State have made the highest campaign contributions to “Donald J. Trump for President,” the official fundraising vehicle for Trump’s 2020 campaign.

According to the data, Pennsylvanians donated $353,353 to the campaign for the year ending Sept. 30.

Pittsburgh had the largest number of individual donations made to Trump with 202 people already sending money. The funds total $19,341, more than any other city in the state.

Philadelphia is second with 197 donations totaling $11,547.

In Delaware County, Sharon Hill is home to a pair of donors, who contributed a combined $5,400.

Also among the Top 30 locations in Pennsylvania for total dollars from individual donors, Malvern had 10 individual donations totaling $6,775. In Kennett Square, eight people donated $5,255, while 37 people in West Chester donated $3,894. And there were 31 individual donations in Downingtown totaling $2,649.
