Wawa, the beloved chain of convenience stores, has almost 700 stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and central Florida, and is continuing to expand with new locations planned in Upper Darby and possibly in Center City, across from Independence Hall.

Manager of Benefits

This position develops the strategy and oversees the administration of the company’s medical, dental, and vision plans; manages service providers for benefits administration activities; and prepares health insurance expense budgets for all company organizations.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, accounting, or a health-related field; a minimum of five years of health and welfare benefit plan administration and plan management; and three years of supervisory experience.

Architect SAP Basis

This position provides leadership on technical projects while completing project deliverables within scope; develops project plans to upgrade and manage company products; and configures and implements new SAP system administration tools.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in information technology or a technical discipline; a minimum of 10 years of related work experience, including five years of SAP experience; and a minimum of three years of BI reporting tools experience.

Product Development Specialist Productivity

This position tests, evaluates, and recommends enterprise productivity functions, including quality improvements; leads product development day-to-day functions for specific categories; and performs competitive analysis and benchmarks.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in food science or the culinary arts, or will be a certified culinary scientist or certified research chef; one to two years of experience using a formal product development process; and food technician experience.

Internal Auditor

This position audits financial, operational, and information technology controls utilizing current audit techniques and tools; effectively and appropriately delivers audit results; and assists in the implementation of process and policy changes.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related discipline; CPA, CIA, and/or CISA certifications; three to five years of experience auditing for either a Big 4 CPA firm or large regional firm; and one to two years of supervisory experience.
