The grass really is greener down the street in Glen Mills at Medical Solutions Supplier, which just earned the Philadelphia Inquirer’s top spot among small companies in its Top Workplaces survey.
And senior compression therapy consultant Tony Purcell can testify to that first-hand.
“They always seemed so positive and upbeat,” Purcell said in a Inquirer report by Paul Jablow. And there was a good reason for that: In the eyes of Medical Solutions Supplier CEO Joseph Carberry, corporate culture is no byproduct of doing business; it’s the engine that drives business.
“We think one really good person can do the job of three good people,” Carberry said. “Culture doesn’t come from the profit margin. You only get great value from your employees when they feel they can effect change.”
And that’s exactly what Purcell felt when he checked out Medical Solutions Supplier.
“They care for you, and you’re working for the patients,” he said. “It’s kind of like a fairy tale.”
