The Crozer-Keystone Health System will host a free community shredding event in partnership with Shred-it, the world’s leading on-site document destruction company, on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 9 AM-12 PM at Crozer Brinton Lake in Glen Mills.

The event will take place at 500 Evergreen Drive in the front parking lot of the Crozer Medical Plaza and Crozer-Keystone Regional Cancer Center at Brinton Lake, conveniently near the intersection of routes 1 and 202.

Shred-it mobile shredding trucks will be set up in the parking lot, and Shred-it staff will help individuals fight identity theft by destroying unwanted personal documents safely and securely. Each vehicle is limited to a maximum of three file bins or five grocery bags, and individuals are asked to remove all binder clips and paper clips prior to shredding. The event will be held rain or shine.

After shredding, the community is invited to park their car, and enjoy the following:

  • Tours of Crozer Brinton Lake
  • Health information tables that include Brinton Lake Imaging, Sleep Center at Brinton Lake, Internal Medicine Associates, Crozer-Keystone Multi-Specialty/Surgery Suite, and more
  • WJBR 99.5 Street Team will be on site from 9-11 AM with music, games, and prizes
  • Food sampling courtesy of Whole Foods of Glen Eagle Square
  • Refreshments and giveaways
