The not-for-profit Crozer-Keystone Health System was established in 1990 by the merger of Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland and Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill. Today, the health system also comprises three other hospitals: Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park, Springfield Hospital, and Community Hospital in Chester. With more than 1,000 physicians and 6,000 total employees, Crozer-Keystone is the largest employer and healthcare provider in Delaware County.

Director of Managed Care Contracting

This position is responsible for the implementation and coordination of managed care contracting and related activities. He/she will manage assigned portfolio of payer contracts and relationships for all network hospitals, physicians, and ancillary providers. The person will lead responsibility of negotiating small to mid-range contracts of assigned managed care payers and assists in large scale contracts, including rates, payment methodologies and contract language.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s Degree in health care administration or a related field. He/she should have a minimum of five years of managed care contracting for multihospital system and/or payer and reimbursement analysis, in either a provider or payer setting. Extensive knowledge, experience, and expertise in managed care contracting negotiations, language, modeling analytics, and reimbursement methodologies.

EMR System Specialist

This position performs duties to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner. He/she is responsible for EMR form development and optimization, and will train clinical office functions and office workflows related to Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), Meaningful Use, and other initiatives. This position will be required to develop, run, and review reports that support PCMH and Quality Initiative efforts with the intent to identify opportunity for improvement.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care, IS, or another related field, and will have five to ten years of equivalent work experience in a health-care setting. He/she must understand physician office workflow and have knowledge of electronic medical records. Past experience with form building and implementation of an EMR is strongly preferred.

Managed Care Analyst

This position requires proficiency in designing and implementing data management and databases which support transforming data in to actionable information to support revenue recovery. It also requires in-depth understanding of healthcare reimbursement structures for hospitals, physicians, and ancillary services.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, finance, HealthCare Administration, or statistics analytics. He/she will have a minimum of three to five years of hospital/physician or payer claims and or contracting at a manager or above level, with extensive experience in collections/revenue recovery. Experience in developing SQL queries and Crystal reports is required.
