This position ensures that the program is fully staffed with volunteers to meet the needs of patients and their families; attends community events that promote and recruit volunteers; and monitors volunteer time logs, data entry, and patient documentation.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and experience in social services, human services, resource management, or a related field; effective teaching, interpersonal, and organizational skills; and knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

This position processes patient referrals and coordinates patient admission; contacts physicians and insurance companies for appropriate orders and authorization; and explains hospice services and benefits to patients, family members, and significant others.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and a history of effective communication with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare personnel; experience in insurance and Medicare/Medicaid billing and reimbursement; and effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
