A Villanova graduate and former coach is turning a simple frustration into a fashion brand, and the industry is starting to take notice, reports Jenn Frederick for FOX 29 Philadelphia.
Natalie Conicella, a Delaware County local, launched Sweat2Swim with a concept as practical as it is clever: activewear and swimwear that works as both.
Designed to move seamlessly “from land to sea,” the line features supportive, moisture-wicking, SPF-protected pieces built for the kind of day that starts on a tennis court and ends at the beach.
The idea, Conicella said, came from her own life. As a runner and coach, she was tired of packing multiple outfits just to get through an active day. So she built something that could keep up.
The collection reflects that versatility. Standout pieces include “The MVP” houndstooth suit, a nod to the timeless elegance of Grace Kelly, alongside workout-ready swim sets designed for everything from Pilates to pickleball. Prices start at $58 with a variety of flattering styles and colors to choose from.
The brand has already caught the eye of entrepreneur and television personality Bethenny Frankel, who has been spotted wearing the line, a signal that Sweat2Swim is gaining traction well beyond Delaware County.
Looking ahead, the brand is planning a patriotic collaboration with Fat Boy Surf Club this June, timed to celebrate America’s 250th birthday and Team USA’s Olympic spirit.
