Here’s How to Spend 24 Hours in Media–Everybody’s Hometown

If you’ve got 24 hours to fill, here’s a good way to spend it in Everybody’s HometownMedia Borough, writes Anne E. Hill for Main Line Today.

8:30 AM Grab breakfast at The Corner, a favorite breakfast and lunch spot with an inventive menu.

10 AM Glen Providence Park

Walk off that meal by exploring the trails at the county’s first park at this 33-acre site just outside the borough.

12:30 PM. Willow’s Garden Café  is home-styled and locally-sourced for breakfast and lunch.

2 PM Linvilla Orchards is a family-favorite spot year-round with tons of seasonal activities, produce, a country store, and a beer garden.

3:30 PM Burlap and Bean Roastery, for a latte, coffee, or espresso boost.

4 PM  It’s time to shop and stroll in Media’s active downtown.

5:30 p.m. Book your overnight at the Gifford-Risley House Bed & Breakfast, a 1877 Gothic Revival Victorian mansion.  

6 PM. Have Asian fusion at the Azie, or try one of Media’s many other restaurants.

8 PM The Media Theatre is an eclectic theater with small-town charm for shows, movies, and visiting concerts.

10 PM  Close out the night with cocktails and eatery at the aviation-themed Departure Restaurant & Lounge,
