With just one week to go, Delaware County is gearing up for one of its most powerful displays of community generosity.

Delco Gives returns May 6–7, bringing together hundreds of nonprofits and thousands of donors for an online giving event hosted by The Foundation for Delaware County.

Now in its third year, Delco Gives continues to grow as a unifying moment for the community—raising critical funds and awareness for the organizations that support Delaware County every day.

At a time when many nonprofits are navigating increased demand and ongoing uncertainty, Delco Gives offers a meaningful way for residents, businesses, and community leaders to step forward and make an impact.

“Delco Gives is about more than a single day of giving—it’s about what’s possible when a community comes together with purpose,” said Michael Kellerman, president of The Foundation for Delaware County. “This is a moment to go all in for the organizations that care for our neighbors, strengthen our communities, and help shape Delaware County’s future.”

Last year, more than 11,000 donors raised nearly $2.3 million for local nonprofits. This year, with over 300 organizations participating, the opportunity to make a difference is even greater.

Here are three ways to go all in for Delco Gives:

1. Give—Every Gift Counts
No matter the size, every donation makes a difference. Gifts made during Delco Gives are boosted by bonus funds and prizes, increasing their impact and helping nonprofits do even more.

Not sure which cause to choose? With the All In Fund, you don’t have to.

The All In Fund is a simple, powerful way to support every nonprofit participating in Delco Gives with a single gift. Your donation is pooled with others and distributed across all participating organizations—helping strengthen the entire nonprofit community in Delaware County.

2. Share Your Passion
Support goes beyond dollars. Share why you give, highlight the causes you care about, and encourage others to join you. Whether through social media or a personal fundraiser, your voice can inspire others to take part. You can find sample posts and a peer-to-peer fundraiser option on the Delco Gives website. You can also stop by the Foundation’s office during business hours to pick up a yard sign and share your Delco pride!

3. Get Your Workplace Involved
Businesses play a vital role in Delco Gives. From matching gifts to prize sponsorships and team-based giving, companies can amplify their impact while demonstrating a commitment to the community. Bring your team to the Delco Gives Closing Celebration at the new WSFS Bank Sportsplex on May 7 at 5 PM to celebrate!

“There is tremendous opportunity in this moment—to lift up our nonprofit community and ensure it continues to serve Delaware County for years to come,” Kellerman added.

What is Delco Gives?

Through an online giving platform, Delco Gives encourages the community to explore and support a diverse range of nonprofits serving Delaware County. Participating organizations range from those focused on the arts, education, and health care to causes supporting animals, veterans, the environment, seniors, and more. Profiles of participating nonprofits are available at delcogives.org.

In 2025, the median donation was just $30, proving that every gift counts. All proceeds go directly to participating nonprofits. Each donation will also be eligible for bonus funding from the Foundation and generous sponsors, helping every contribution go further. Bonus funds are awarded based on the number of donors supporting an organization—not the size of the donation—ensuring that broad community participation drives impact.

This year, the Foundation is enhancing donor engagement with “All in for Delco,” an effort to expand the shared pool of bonus funds distributed to participating nonprofits. You can make a gift to your favorite cause and make an additional gift to the All In fund that benefits all nonprofits.

Additional cash prizes sponsored by local businesses will also be awarded throughout May 6–7, 2026.
