A social networking platform with its headquarters in Media Borough has been named a runner-up in Technical.ly’s annual RealLIST.

RYLA is a platform that helps individuals and communities develop meaningful connections in digital and physical spaces, according to its LinkedIn profile. It was founded in 2024 by Meredith Tretiak.
“Whether you’re building professional networks, organizing social groups, or managing multiple roles, RYLA simplifies how you connect, grow, and collaborate,” the profile stated.
RYLA allows you to build community spaces for groups of 10 to 1,000 members and connect with individuals and communities across your network.
You can create and manage different profiles, find events, and see which connections are attending those events.
RYLA made a list that covers a variety of industries, from biotech researching treatments for disease to tech platforms.
The list comes from past reporting and nominations from the general public. The honorees must have been founded within the past three years.
The 2026 honorees exemplify Philadelphia’s strength as a market with a diverse range of sectors, according to Technical.ly.
