Outdoor Dining Reopens in Chester County for the Spring Season

Restaurants throughout Chester County offer rooftops and patios for outdoor dining as the weather warms this spring.

As spring arrives and the weather continues to warm, Chester County restaurants are reopening outdoor dining for the perfect al fresco meal, writes Hira Qureshi for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Here are three local spots where you can find delicious cuisine and enjoy the fresh air this spring and summer.

Mas Mexicali CantinaWest Chester. A West Chester favorite, Mas features a rooftop patio with its own outdoor bar alongside picnic, high-top, and traditional seating. The menu includes tacos, enchiladas, burritos, nachos, and more, and drinks include margaritas, sangria, cocktails, and beer.

East Branch Brewing CompanyDowningtown. Enjoy craft food, wine, cocktails, and 11 beers on tap at East Branch Brewing’s second-floor patio. Drinks also include ciders, rosé, sangria, and canned cocktails, and the food menu includes smoked wings, crispy cauliflower, and a brisket cheesesteak flatbread.

Black Powder TavernWayne. In operation since 1746, the historic Black Powder Tavern offers an outdoor patio with shaded seating perfect for warmer summer months. The menu includes burgers, seafood, pasta dishes, and pub-style favorites, along with an expansive wine and cocktail menu. The spot also offers live music on Fridays for the perfect evening spent outdoors.
