The popular New Jersey gastropub Flying Pig Tavern & Tap is expanding to Bensalem, where it will take over the former Andalusia Bar & Grill spot in the Grandview Plaza shopping center off of Bristol Pike, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.
After suffering significant fire, smoke, and water damage in an October 2024 blaze, the site is currently undergoing major renovations. The new gastropub is expected to be able to welcome guests later this year, according to Vasilis Kolovos, one of its co-owners.
Flying Pig first opened in 2022 and has since expanded with three additional locations, all in New Jersey, making the Bensalem restaurant its first move into Pennsylvania.
The menu includes a variety of classic gastropub dishes such as poke nachos, whipped honey ricotta dip, short rib pizza, brick oven cedar plank salmon, and the Big Pig Burger. Guests can also choose from an extensive list of wines as well as craft beers.
