The next time you find yourself in a holding pattern at the Philadelphia Airport, you might want to head over to Bud and Marilyn’s.

The restaurant made the Food Network’s list of the best airport restaurants in the United States, according to Samantha Lande for Food Network.

Bud and Marilyn’s is located between Terminal B and C.  A Philly stalwart, this Midwestern-style supper club serves some of the restaurant’s most-beloved dishes, along with some grab-and-go selections. Don’t miss the Nashville hot buns filled with hot fried chicken, pickles, pickle brine slaw and a burnt scallion ranch.

The restaurant’s original location at 13th and Locust Streets is an homage to a restaurant in Ripon, Wisconsin owned by Chef Marcie Blaine Turney’s grandparents.

The American-inspired menu focuses on well prepared comfort food.

The Philadelphia Airport eatery joins Shojo, an Asian gastropub at Boston Logon Airport; The Peached Tortilla with its selection of Texas food with an Asian twist at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport; Metro Pizza out of McCarran International Airport, Las Vegas; and Good Stuff Eatery out of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, D.C., among many others.

Visit the Food Network site here to see what other airport restaurants made the grade.
