Wawa is selling seven properties in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, four that have closed stores and three that are vacant lots, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The portfolio went out to market in May of 2025. It includes a closed Wawa store at 2236 Chichester Ave. in Boothwyn. Wawa is asking $800,000 for the 3,023-square-foot building sitting on .63 acres in Boothwyn.
Also for sale is a closed store in Levittown, with a $500,000 asking price; a closed store in Pine Hill, New Jersey, with a $700,000 asking price; a closed store in Absecon, New Jersey, with a $475,000 asking price.
In addition, there are three vacant lots for sale in Trooper, Egg Harbor, New Jersey; and Waretown, New Jersey.
The lots can be bought individually or collectively. All seven properties have an asking price of $4.125 million.
“With no existing lease encumbrances, each location presents a clean slate for redevelopment, adaptive reuse, or re-tenanting,” the listing reads.
The four closed Wawas up for sale do not have gas pumps.
Wawa is shifting its focus to stores with gas pumps as it expands nationwide, so it is closing older stores that do not sell gas.
