You may have already tasted food created by Chef Francis Pascal at Birchrunville Store Cafe; now get ready for his newest expansion in Exton with L’Olivo Trattoria, writes Marilyn Johnson for Philly Grub.
Since 1999, Birchrunville Store Cafe has quietly snuck into the hearts of thousands of restaurant-goers who adore the soul-filled menu and unique fine-dining experience. Alongside his wife, Nui, the pair also run Butterscotch Pastry Shop next door with world-class pastries.
While Pascal’s French and Italian culinary skills have always shown through the flavors of his meals, L’Olivo Trattoria takes it to another level. Having grown up making pasta with his family beneath olive trees, which is the inspiration for the restaurant’s name, this menu is an ode to his Italian heritage.
Dishes will be a culmination of family recipes spanning generations. By implementing passion and a general love for cooking, Pascal’s L’Olivo Trattoria has already become a go-to spot since its recent opening.
