Inspired by their parents, both Villanova Hall of Famers, the three Eberz sisters have forged their own basketball legacy at Archbishop Carroll, writes Jason Dumas for 6abc.
Although they were always encouraged to choose their own path, all three ultimately gravitated toward basketball.
The Radnor siblings deeply enjoyed playing together and, along with their parents, Eric and Michelle, spent countless hours in the backyard, competing against one another. That early time together helped shape their connection to the sport. Today, the three teenagers are carving their own path at Archbishop Carroll, where they are all among the best players in the area.
Alexis is the oldest of the three as a senior, with Kayla and Kelsey currently sophomores. She will continue playing next year at her parents’ alma mater.
“The team, you know, they’re awesome,” she said. “Villanova is such a safe community – they’re all so close – so, you know, I’m so excited.”
Meanwhile, Kelsey is recovering from knee surgery, with her sisters firmly right behind her throughout the process.
“I think I learned the most from her about how strong she is,” said Kayla.
