First-of-Its-Kind Dry Eye Treatment Spa Comes to Bryn Mawr

See La Vie Eyecare & Eyewear opens in Bryn Mawr, introducing the Main Line’s first eye spa focused on dry eye care and rejuvenation.

A new kind of eye care has arrived on the Main Line, blending medical treatment with spa-style rejuvenation, writes Timothy Alexander for MyChesCo.

See La Vie Eyecare & Eyewear has opened its doors in Bryn Mawr, introducing what’s being billed as the region’s first eye spa devoted exclusively to dry eye disease and ocular aesthetics.

Founded by optometrist Kayla Volkert, the practice targets a condition affecting millions of Americans. Rather than relying on quick-fix drops, See La Vie begins with in-depth diagnostics. That includes high-resolution imaging of tear glands and the eye’s surface, to create personalized treatment plans.

Signature offerings include the Eye Rejuvenation Treatment, which pairs OptiLight IPL therapy with technology that uses muscle stimulation and radiofrequency to support eyelid function and appearance. OptiLight treatment is the only FDA-approved light treatment for dry eyes. The non-invasive treatments take about 30 minutes, require no downtime, and are offered in four-session packages.

Beyond the spa experience, See La Vie provides comprehensive eye care. It offers everything from routine exams and chronic condition management to myopia control for children and specialty contact lenses. The Bryn Mawr location also features a curated collection of independent eyewear brands from around the world.
