Drew Yantosh is happy to talk to you about Philadelphia sports, about his favorite teams and his favorite leagues, writes Dave Uram for KYW Newsradio.
In fact, the 14-year-old high school freshman is ready to embark on a career talking about sports.
A natural behind the mic, the confident and knowledgeable teen already produces a podcast on his YouTube page, Breaking Sports Drews.
His latest podcasts covered Week 12 NFL and 2026 ATP tour predictions.
He gives opinions as he analyses a wide range of sports, including the NFL, NBA, and the Phillies.
His passion was handed down from his parents. His mom, Tracy, who grew up in Upper Darby, and his dad, John, are lifelong fans.
They are 76ers season ticket holders, they keep up with the Philadelphia Eagles, and there’s usually a Phillies game on at home.
The season tickets are there as a way to help bond with their teenage sons 40 nights a year.
Drew got interested in talking about sports after watching Kate Scott and Alaa Abdelnaby on their 76ers telecasts.
Not surprisingly, Drew Yantosh would love to call 76ers games or find some other way to be involved in a sports talk career.
