The Philadelphia Phillies’ schedule for the 2026 MLB season has been unveiled, and we now know the team will be facing the Minnesota Twins in the revived Field of Dreams game, writes Tom Dougherty for CBS News Philadelphia.
Set for Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026, this will be the first Field of Dreams game the MLB will have hosted since 2022 and is scheduled to air on Netflix.
It will be played at the field in Dyersville, Iowa, the same field that was built for the 1989 film, Field of Dreams starring Kevin Costner.
Philadelphia will be the epicenter of several sporting events with both the MLB All-Star Game and the FIFA World Cup both coming to the city in 2026.
Phillies games will not interrupt any of the six World Cup matches scheduled to be played at Lincoln Financial Field between June 14 and July 4, 2026.
A little over a week after the final Philadelphia World Cup match is played, the Phillies will play host to the 2026 MLB All-Star Game at Citizens Bank Park. The All-Star break will last from July 13 to July 16, with the actual namesake game taking place July 14.
