Get your day started at 9 AM with a visit to Hobbs Coffee at 1 Park Ave., a corner coffee shop near the train station.

From 10 AM to Noon on Saturdays,  you can explore the farmstands at the Swarthmore Farmers Market while listening to live music.

Pick up books, stationery, and gifts, upcycled items, children’s items, clothing, jewelry, locally made treasures, and thrift items at Celia Bookshop, Of Aspen Curated Gifts, Gallery on Park, Lunch Break Vintage, Kandy Kids, Harvey Oak Mercantile, and Heart and Soul’d.

Stop for pizza at Ranato Pizza, 8 Park Ave.

Stroll for free at the Scott Arboretum & Gardens at Swarthmore College.

Check into the Inn at Swarthmore, 10 S. Chester Road, a 40-room boutique hotel that features student artwork and a small art gallery in the lobby.

Take in dinner at Broad Table Tavern, 1 S. Chester Road, with a seasonal, locally-sourced menu.

Afterward, enjoy a beer at Ship Bottom Brewery or music at Warehouse3Live, 5 Park Ave.
